During the one minute and fifty-three second KickStarter video Whitlock explains his motivation for offering the doll "For years, I’ve been doing everything I can to help people out when they need to hear me say "sheeeeeeeee-it!" People come up to me on the street, in bars and restaurants, on trains and planes, at sports games and even on film sets, and ask me to say my signature catchphrase. But think about. Stopping me on the street is not the most practical way to have me say sheeeeeeeee-it. The moment you happen to see me may not be the moment you really need a sheeeeeeeee-it. And it may not be the best time for me either."
